SF Police Probe Fatal Shooting, Stabbing
SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ―
A fatal stabbing early Wednesday morning and a fatal shooting Tuesday afternoon claimed the lives of two men in San Francisco, and marked the city's 84th and 85 homicides reported this year.
Officers responded to the 300 block of Ellis Street in the Tenderloin District at about 3:50 a.m. and found a man suffering stab wounds, according to police.
The man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the San Francisco medical examiner's office.
Tuesday afternoon's homicide was reported at Wayland and Brussels streets, police said.
Officers responded just before 2 p.m. and found a man suffering gunshot wounds.
He was also taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead there, the medical examiner's office reported.
Authorities have not yet released the victims' identities.
Suspect information was not immediately available.
