Brief Power Outage Strikes SF, Peninsula

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ― A "momentary outage on a transmission line" affected Pacific Gas and Electric Co. customers from San Mateo up to San Francisco on Monday night, according to spokesman J.D. Nelson.

The outage hit the area shortly after 10 p.m. and power quickly came back on, said Nelson. He added that there were no remaining customers without power.

The outage briefly affected the Bay Bridge and AT&T Park where the San Francisco Giants were playing the Colorado Rockies.

Nelson said the cause of the outage is being investigated.
