Santa Rosa Man Sought In Stabbing Of Kids' Mother

 CBS 5 CrimeWatch

SANTA ROSA (BCN) ― Santa Rosa police are looking for a man suspected of fatally stabbing the mother of his children in an apartment.

Honorio Pantaleon, 30, also known as Victor Pantaleon, is suspected of stabbing the 25-year-old woman whose body was found in the apartment in the 6100 block of Montecito Ave. at 9:27 p.m. Sunday, Sgt. Lisa Banayat said.

The woman's brother asked police to check on her welfare because she was previously the victim of domestic violence, Banayat said. Police then found the woman dead in the apartment from stab wounds.

Pantaleon is wanted for murder and should be considered armed and dangerous, Banayat said. He is 5 feet 4 inches, 160 pounds and has a shaved head and brown eyes, police said.

It is believed Pantaleon is driving a white, four-door 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer with a California license plate 4ZIL219.

Anyone with information about Pantaleon or his vehicle is asked to call 911, Banayat said.
