18-Year-Old Killed In Santa Rosa Shooting
SANTA ROSA (BCN) ―
An 18-year-old Santa Rosa man was killed in a shooting early Saturday morning in unincorporated Sonoma County south of Santa Rosa, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department.
The shooting was reported shortly before 3:30 a.m. Deputies responded to the intersection of Neville Way and Moorland Avenue, where they found Alejandro Ortega lying unconscious in the roadway, according to the sheriff's department.
Ortega was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Detective Jesse Hanshew of the sheriff's department's violent crimes investigations unit at (707) 565-2185.
