Police Seek Help In Santa Clara Hit-And-Run
SANTA CLARA (BCN) ―
Santa Clara police are seeking the public's assistance in locating the female driver who struck and seriously injured a 21-year-old woman near Santa Clara University on Nov. 15.
The victim was crossing Market Street at Alviso Street near the university around 3 p.m. when she was hit by a gold or tan sedan.
According to police, she was walking within a crosswalk when she was hit.
Police are searching for the suspect, described by witnesses as a woman in her 20s or 30s, with puffy or curly blonde hair and possibly blue eyes.
The car she was driving was described as a 1990s Honda or Toyota four-door sedan. The vehicle has a broken windshield and mild to moderate front-end damage it sustained in the incident, according to police.
