Authorities say a routine traffic stop led to six arrests after investigators unearthed a suspected drug ring.
The California Highway Patrol on Saturday stopped a speeding car in San Rafael and found 20 pounds of pot, a half pound of hashish and four ounces of hash oil.
Marin County investigators searched the Petaluma home of the driver, 46-year-old Avery Badenhop, a stuntman who calls himself "Tattoo Buckaroo." Officials say they found $750,000 in cash, handguns and another 32 pounds of marijuana there.
Also arrested was Badenhop's wife, 46-year-old Jerri Lee Bionda. Investigators say evidence at the house also led to four other arrests, the discovery of 420 pot plants, 100 vials of hash oil, more cash and handguns.
The couple is being held on $2.5 million bail in Marin County Jail on drug and conspiracy allegations.
