Man Shot In Head At San Pablo Park

SAN PABLO (BCN) ― San Pablo police Wednesday are investigating a Tuesday afternoon shooting that left a 20-year-old man in critical condition suffering a gunshot wound to his head, police Sgt. Mike Von Millanich said.

Officers responded at about 5 p.m. to reports of shots fired at John Hubert Davis Park, located at 1651 Folsom Ave., Millanich said.

The victim, a 20-year-old San Pablo man, was found suffering a gunshot wound to his head and was transported to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, Millanich said. The victim remained in critical condition early Wednesday morning. His identity has not been released pending notification of his family.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and police ask that anyone with information call police at (510) 215-3150.
