San Jose is moving ahead with a plan to make the city friendlier to bicycling commuters. The city council has given the go-ahead to a major trail expansion.

The new trail will create a mile-long missing link along the Los Gatos Creek Trail, connecting the cities of Campbell and Los Gatos to Downtown San Jose and Silicon Valley's job centers. Currently the trail abruptly ends at Auzerais Avenue.
