SJ Motorcylcist ID'd After Fatal Crash Into Tree

SAN JOSE (BCN) ― A 28-year-old motorcyclist who died Friday after he crashed into a tree in San Jose has been identified Sunday as Joseph Leroy Dinapoli, a Santa Clara County medical examiner's office investigator said.

The San Jose resident was riding on Almaden Expressway near McAbee Road around 8:30 p.m. when he apparently lost control and crashed, police said.

Dinapoli was transported to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, where he died around 9:25 p.m., according to the medical examiner's office.
