SF Muni N-Judah Service Resumes After Sinkhole Fix
SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ―
San Francisco Municipal Railway light rail service that had been disrupted on the N-Judah line since Friday night because of a sinkhole near the tracks in the city's Sunset District resumed Sunday morning, according to a Muni spokesman.
Service had been disrupted since about 8 p.m. Friday after the sinkhole was discovered near the tracks at the intersection of Judah Street and 29th Avenue, according to spokesman Judson True.
Buses continued to shuttle passengers on the N-Judah line Sunday morning while the light rail resumed its regular schedule.
Crews with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and the city's Department of Public Works repaired the sinkhole, according to True.
Regular service resumed about 9:50 a.m.
