Salinas Man Shot 6 Times Expected To Survive
SALINAS (BCN) ―
Salinas police were searching for suspects Sunday who shot a 26-year-old man six times Saturday night.
Officers were dispatched to a local hospital at about 11:20 p.m. after they learned a shooting victim was there.
The victim told police he was approached by a black Honda with several males inside in the area of Del Monte Avenue and Burke Street.
The man said the suspects yelled gang-related insults at him before the shooting. His wounds do not appear to be life threatening, according to the Police Department.
