Suspect Sought In Rohnert Park Gas Station Robbery

ROHNERT PARK (BCN) ― The Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety is searching for a man that allegedly robbed a Valero gas station Tuesday afternoon.

At about 4:35 p.m., the suspect allegedly entered the gas station on Southwest Boulevard and demanded money from the clerk, according to the department.

The suspect lifted up his shirt to show a semi-automatic pistol in his waistband, after which the clerk complied by handing over money from the register.

The suspect fled the scene on foot heading west on Southwest Boulevard. Authorities arrived on scene shortly after the report of the robbery, but could not find the suspect.

The suspect is described as a tall and skinny man in his early 20s wearing a green hat, black shirt and green pants.
