Man Seriously Hurt In Shooting At Richmond Park
RICHMOND (BCN) ―
A male victim was seriously injured in Richmond Monday night when two suspects opened fire on a group of people in Nevin Park, a police lieutenant said.
The shooting happened around 8:55 p.m. when the two male suspects got out of a vehicle near the park at Fourth Street and Nevin Avenue and started shooting at a group of at least three people, Lt. Mike Gormley said.
The suspects then returned to their vehicle and fled the area.
Officers responded to the park and located evidence of the shooting, Gormley said. One victim showed up at a local hospital and was in serious but stable condition Monday night, according to Gormley.
A motive for the shooting is under investigation.
