2 Shot Dead In Richmond Restaurant

RICHMOND (BCN) ― Two people were fatally shot in a restaurant in Richmond Sunday night, and police have a man in custody that they believe may have been involved in the shooting, police Sgt. Bisa French said.

The shooting was reported shortly after 7:30 p.m. at Pit Boss Barbeque, a restaurant located at 12889 San Pablo Ave., according to French.

Arriving officers found two victims, identified as Alvaro Garcia, Jr., 23, and Intaz Ahmed, 32, as the victims of a double-fatal shooting in a restaurant in Richmond Sunday nightwho had been fatally shot in the restaurant, French said.

Police have taken one man into custody that may have been involved in the homicides, according to French. No motive has been established yet, but the shootings were possibly gang-related, she said.
