Fire In SF Richmond District Destroys Home Of 5

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ― A one-alarm structure fire in the Richmond District Thursday displaced five people including two children, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.

The blaze was reported at 663 24th St. at Balboa Street just before 8 p.m., fire officials said.

The flames were controlled by about 8:20 p.m. with no reported injuries. The American Red Cross is assisting the three adults and two children displaced by the fire.
