2 Arrested In Redwood City Home Burglary
REDWOOD CITY (BCN) ―
Two men were arrested Tuesday after allegedly attempting to burglarize a Redwood City home in broad daylight, a police sergeant said Wednesday.
A witness reported seeing the suspects climb through a window of the home in the 1500 block of Gordon Street at about 11:50 a.m., Redwood City police Sgt. Dan Mulholland said.
Responding officers surrounded the home and arrested the men, identified as 21-year-old Hugo Farias-Yanez and 18-year-old Luis Perez, after they tried to run, Mulholland said.
The witness identified the men, and Mulholland said they admitted to the burglary during an interview with police.
The men were booked into San Mateo County jail for residential burglary and resisting or obstructing a police officer.
