About 200 people rallied outside the Israeli Consulate in San Francisco Sunday, in response to the large pro-Palestinian demonstrations that have been taking place around the Bay Area.
Israeli-American Anna Frid said the large, loud anti-Israel protests that have occured recently don't represent the majority view, even in the liberal Bay Area.
"I think most Americans are against terrorism and therefore would be standing with Israel as they fight Hamas," she said.
Police were on hand for the pro-Israel amrch, but there were no counter-demonstrators supporting Hamas. There was, however, a "Solidarity with Gaza" event at a Muslim association in Santa Clara.
Thousands of Pro-Palestinians marched the day before in San Francisco, calling for an end to the violence.
