Pleasant Hill Bank Evacuated By Suspicious Package
PLEASANT HILL (BCN) ―
A U.S. bank in a Pleasant Hill grocery store was evacuated Saturday because a man in a mask and a jumpsuit left a suspicious package on the counter, according to the Pleasant Hill Police Department.
A Walnut Creek police bomb squad determined the package was harmless, but investigators are still looking for the man.
Officers got a call a suspicious masked man in the bank at 155 Crescent Plaza inside a Lucky's store around 5:30 p.m.
Nothing was taken and no one was injured.
