Man Stabbed Outside Petaluma Safeway Store

Petaluma police are investigating a stabbing outside a Safeway supermarket Sunday night.
Shortly after 10 p.m., officers responded to reports of a woman chasing a man with a knife outside the Safeway store at 373 S. McDowell Blvd. By the time they arrived, both parties were gone, police said.
About 10 minutes later, officers found a male victim who had been stabbed in the forearm, police said. He told police he had been attacked by a female as he exited the Safeway.
He was treated for his injuries and released. No arrests have been made.
