Composting May Be Booted From Palo Alto Park

 Environment & The Green Beat
PALO ALTO (CBS 5) ― A compost operation has been located at Palo Alto's Bixby Park since the 1970s. But city park officials want to move the facility.

Officials say the area where the composting occurs will become protected bay land in three years. The facility processes 21,000 tons of green waste each year.
