Yet Another Restaurant Takeover Robbery In Oakland

Authorities say two hooded gunman robbed an Oakland cafe on the same night that residents staged an anti-crime march.
The takeover-style robbery took place after 10 p.m. Friday at the Nomad Cafe in North Oakland.
Cafe owner Christopher Waters says men wearing hooded sweatshirts forced two customers and two employees into a back room and took their money before stealing from the cash register. No one was injured.
Friday night's robbery is the latest in a string of similar holdups at restaurants throughout Oakland.
It happened the happened the same night that dozens of people marched to reclaim the streets in Oakland's Rockridge District, where a Pasta Pomodoro restaurant was robbed Monday night.
