Oakland Sidewalk Remains Unfixed After 2 Years

OAKLAND (CBS 5) ― One person after another has been tripping on a bumpy sidewalk in Oakland. It seems like it should be an easy fix, but one local merchant said he has complained to the city numerous times with no repairs.

A two-inch lip is protruding out of the sidewalk along College Avenue in the Montclair neighborhood. Business Niels Dahl-Jensen has seen people trip on the sidewalk time after time and has documented the incidents on video. He has called the city for the past two years to fix the hazard.
