Victim Identified In Oakland Fatal Shooting
OAKLAND (BCN) ―
Police released the identity Wednesday of a 22-year-old man who was
fatally shot at a gas station in the city Tuesday night.
At about 10:30 p.m., police received a report that a shooting victim had arrived at Highland Hospital, Oakland police spokesman Roland Holmgren said.
The victim, identified as Eric Ford, died at the hospital.
Investigators determined that the shooting had taken place at a gas station at 3420 35th Ave., but police are still working to determine a motive and identify suspects.
The shooting marked the 67th homicide in the city this year.
