Garbage Man Hit, Killed In Oakland Accident

OAKLAND (BCN) ― A Waste Management of Alameda County employee was fatally struck by a vehicle Monday morning in Oakland, police said.

The accident occurred at about 5:55 a.m. in the 9300 block of Bancroft Avenue, according to police.

The vehicle stopped following the collision and no arrests were made, police said.

The accident is under investigation.
