At Least 36 Arrested In SF New Year's Celebrations
SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ―
At least 36 people were arrested in San Francisco Wednesday night and Thursday morning as a result of New Year's festivities in the city, police said.
According to Sgt. Wilfred Williams, SFPD made 30 arrests for being drunk in public in the areas of Broadway, Market Street and the Embarcadero, Williams said.
Five arrests were made for a variety of misdemeanor offenses, according to Williams, who said police also made one arrest for a felony warrant.
