1 Hospitalized In Mission District Muni Bus Crash

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ― One person was taken to the hospital after a San Francisco Municipal Railway bus collided with another vehicle in the city's Mission District this morning, a Muni spokeswoman said.

The accident was reported just after 9 a.m. at the intersection of 23rd and Bryant streets, and involved an outbound 27 Bryant bus.

Muni spokeswoman Kristen Holland said one passenger on the bus was taken to a hospital. Holland did not know the extent of that person's injuries.

The crash caused minor damage to the bus, Holland said.

The bus driver, as is standard procedure, will be administered a drug test and placed on non-driving status pending an investigation into the cause of the crash, Holland said.

The collision did not affect Muni service.
