Motorcyclist Crashes Into Car In Marin Co. Traffic
SAN RAFAEL (BCN) ―
A motorcyclist remains in critical condition Sunday after he crashed into the back of a car Saturday in heavy traffic in San Rafael, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Emmett Keller, 40, and Cindy Keller, 39, both of Cotati, were traveling north on U.S. Highway 101 on a 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle when they encountered heavy traffic at about noon Saturday near North San Pedro Road, CHP Officer Ralph Caggiano said.
The motorcycle crashed into the back of a stopped Pontiac driven by a 52-year-old Novato woman.
Emmett Keller, the driver of the motorcycle, was ejected upon impact and sustained severe head injuries, Caggiano said.
Cindy Keller was also ejected from the motorcycle and sustained moderate injuries.
Emmett Keller remained in critical condition Sunday morning, according to Caggiano.
The driver of the Pontiac was not injured in the crash, which remains under investigation, Caggiano said.
