Suspect In Morgan Hill Stabbings Surrenders

 CBS 5 CrimeWatch

MORGAN HILL (BCN) ― A 19-year-old Morgan Hill man turned himself in to police Tuesday afternoon after his alleged involvement in a stabbing of two men Friday night, according to Morgan Hill police.

Alejandro Hernandez surrendered at about 2 p.m. and was booked into county jail on charges of attempted murder, police said.

The stabbing was reported at about 9:30 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of an ampm convenience store at 18605 Monterey Rd. Arriving officers found two victims who had been stabbed multiple times, including one who suffered critical wounds to his chest, police said.

Police arrested 18-year-old Humberto Gonzalez as well as a 15-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl Saturday for their involvement in the incident and announced that they were looking for Hernandez.

An attempt to arrest Hernandez at his home Saturday was unsuccessful, and the search continued until his arrest Tuesday, according to police.

Anyone with information about the stabbings is encouraged to contact Morgan Hill Police Department Detectives Brandon Richards or Greg Dini at (408) 779-2101, or the Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers at (408) 847-7867.
