Daly City Man Killed In Mission District Stabbing
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5 / BCN) ―
San Francisco police are investigating the death of a 33-year-old Daly City man found stabbed in the Mission District early Sunday.
Officers responded to reports of a fight at Cesar Chavez and Folsom streets about 12:30 a.m.
The officers found the victim, identified by the medical examiner's office as German Fernandez, lying wounded in the street about five blocks away, at Cesar Chavez and Bryant streets.
Fernandez was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he died.
Police believe four or five males were involved in the attack on Fernandez, and are asking any witnesses to call police at (415) 575-4444.
Police said the stabbing is the city's 43rd homicide this year.
