SFPD Searching For 10-Year-Old Missing Girl
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5 / BCN) ―
San Francisco police sought the public's help in locating a 10-year-old girl who went missing from the city's Tenderloin District on Saturday.
Mireya Zapata was reported missing from the 400 block of Turk Street around 10:30 a.m., SFPD Sgt. Steve Mannina said.
She was last seen wearing a black jacket with "South Pole" written on the back, black jeans, red and black shoes and was carrying a pink backpack.
Mireya is a Hispanic female with dark eyes and brown hair, Mannina said. She is about 5 feet tall, and weighs 75 pounds.
Anyone with information the missing girl was asked to call the San Francisco Police Department tip line at (415) 575-4444.
