Driver Jailed After Police Chase In Marin County
MILL VALLEY (BCN) ―
A man was arrested for driving under the influence early Tuesday morning in Marin County after a brief chase, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicle was reported at about 1:45 a.m. to be driving erratically away from Stinson Beach on Panoramic Highway, according to CHP Officer Peter Van Eckhardt.
The CHP intercepted the vehicle, which did not immediately stop when contacted by officers, Van Eckhardt said.
Officers maneuvered around the vehicle and forced it to a stop by bumping it near the intersection of Panoramic Highway and state Highway 1 near Mill Valley, according to Van Eckhardt.
The man was taken into custody at about 2:10 a.m., Van Eckhardt said, No injuries were reported in the incident.
