Another Pot Growing Operation Found In SF Sunset

 CBS 5 CrimeWatch

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5 / BCN) ― Officers in San Francisco uncovered a marijuana growing operation in a home in the city's Sunset District on Wednesday afternoon.

Working on information regarding a pot growing operation in the 2000 block of 32nd Avenue, surveillance officers contacted a suspect coming out of a home at around 2:20 p.m., according to the San Francisco Police Department.

The suspect was determined to be a convicted felon on probation out of San Mateo County in possession of marijuana, and officers were then able to obtain a warrant for the residence.

A marijuana growing operation of more than 200 plants was found in the home, as well as a shotgun with ammunition and other items, according to police.

Two suspects were also located during the search and both were arrested on multiple offenses.
