Man Shot, Killed North Of Cloverdale

CLOVERDALE (BCN) ― The sheriff's office was investigating a fatal shooting that took place in Sonoma County north of Cloverdale on Friday afternoon.

Units responded to a shooting reported on Cooley Lane at around 4 p.m., according to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office.

Arriving deputies confirmed that a shooting had taken place and that one person had been fatally wounded.

A suspect had apparently fled the scene, according to the sheriff's office.
At last report, detectives and deputies were continuing a homicide investigation and conducting a search for possible suspects.

Further information on the victim and possible suspects was not immediately available.
