Teen Shot In SF Hunters Point Dies In Hospital
SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ―
A 17-year-old boy shot Friday in San Francisco's Hunters Point neighborhood died at the hospital Sunday, police said Wednesday.
The shooting took place just before 11:30 p.m. Friday in the unit block of Northridge Road, according to police spokeswoman Sgt. Lyn Tomioka.
The boy died late Sunday morning at San Francisco General Hospital, Tomioka said.
The medical examiner's office identified the boy today as Damija Wells, of San Francisco.
No arrests were made, and no suspect information was immediately available, Tomioka said.
The shooting is the 11th homicide reported by San Francisco police this year, according to Tomioka.
