A group of women, recreating a historic cross-country trip from 100 years ago arrived in San Francisco on Thursday. They are commemorating the historic 1909 cross-country trip from New York to San Francisco made by
Alice Ramsey, the "Amelia Earhart of automobiles."
Driven by Emily Anderson, the group traveled 30 days in a rebuilt 1909 Maxwell D-A, retracing Ramsey's journey.
