 CBS 5 CrimeWatch

HEALDSBURG (BCN) ― Healdsburg police have arrested a juvenile on suspicion of stabbing a 19-year-old man during a large fight in the 400 block of Center Street Sunday afternoon.

Police did not locate any of the fight's participants when they responded to the area around 4:45 p.m., but they received a call from Healdsburg Hospital about an uncooperative stabbing victim in the emergency room around 5 p.m., Sgt. Kevin Young said.

The stabbing victim, Anthony Frye, 19, of Healdsburg, was treated for his injury and released, Young said.

Police said David Edward Tinsley, 18, of Healdsburg, ran from the emergency room when police arrived. He was caught and arrested for possession of a club and large folding knife, Young said.

Police then identified the 17-year-old stabbing suspect who was located on University Avenue a short time later. The juvenile was carrying an illegal knife and also had suffered an injury during the fight, police said.

The juvenile was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and carrying an illegal knife, was treated for his injury and was booked into juvenile hall, Young said.
