2nd Suspicious Fire Strikes School In Gilroy

GILROY (CBS 5) ― Firefighters on Wednesday night battled a three-alarm fire at Gateway School in Gilroy, the second suspicious fire at the school in six months.

Crews responded to the campus on Hanna Street, which shares a campus with Glen View Elementary. There were no reports of injures.

Gateway School was condemned because of a fire back in January that was ruled as arson. That fire spread to four-alarms and gutted numerous classrooms. The school building will now have to be bulldozed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
