2 Arrested In Rape Of Teen Girl At Gilroy Park

GILROY (CBS 5 / AP) ― Two homeless men have been arrested for allegedly raping and robbing a 13-year-old girl whom they met in a Gilroy park.

Police say the victim met 29-year-old Cresencio Blas and 49-year-old Benancio Leon at Christmas Hill Park and spent several hours talking to them while using various intoxicants Wednesday evening. Police say the men then sexually assaulted her several times before she escaped and got help.

One of the suspects was found with the victim's property.

Blas and Leon are being held at Santa Clara County Jail.
