Armed Robber Hits Several Bay Area Gas Stations
SAN CARLOS (BCN) ―
A man who held up a San Carlos gas station Friday evening matches the description of a suspect in several other armed gas station robberies in the Bay Area, according to police.
The robbery occurred at about 6:40 p.m., when a man wearing a blue motorcycle helmet entered Justin's 76 gas station at 90 El Camino Real, according to police. He brandished a black handgun, demanded money, and left the store with an undetermined amount of cash.
The suspect is described as between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a brown leather jacket over a black sweatshirt, jeans and black shoes. The blue motorcycle helmet had a clear face shield.
His description matches that of a suspect who has robbed several other Bay Area gas stations, according to police.
