2-Alarm Fire Damages Broadmoor Home

BROADMOOR (BCN) ― A two-alarm fire burned at a home in Broadmoor early Saturday morning, a North County Fire Authority battalion chief said.

The fire was reported at 6:25 a.m. at a one-story, single-family house on Louvaine Drive.

Battalion Chief Tony Maffei said six adults were in the home when the fire started.

"They were all safely evacuated and there were no injuries," Maffei said.

The fire was controlled at 6:38 a.m. Its cause remains under investigation, and Maffei said the six residents have been displaced.

There is no dollar estimate yet on the damage, he said.
