SF Police Find Fatal Shooting Victim

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ― San Francisco police found a fatal gunshot victim in the Visitacion Valley neighborhood Sunday morning, according to Sgt. Steve Mannina.

Just before 11 a.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Blythdale Avenue after someone who knew the man contacted police, Mannina said.

The officers found the 30-year-old city resident unresponsive and fire officials arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim dead, said Mannina.

Officers also found multiple shell casings at the scene, he said.

Police have not arrested any suspects and are asking anyone with
information about the incident to call the Police Department's anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444.
