 CBS 5 CrimeWatch

SAN JOSE (BCN) ― Two San Jose residents have died and a third is in the hospital after a shooting Friday night, San Jose police announced Saturday morning.

Reports of the shooting brought officers to the 3100 block of Cadillac Drive around 11:20 p.m. where they located three shooting victims. A 29-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene and two others were taken to a local hospital, Officer Enrique Garcia said.

A 24-year-old died soon after being taken to the hospital. The final victim, an 18-year-old, is in stable condition.

According to Garcia, preliminary investigation indicates that the victims were standing in front of an apartment building talking when the suspect approached them. The suspect then fired multiple rounds at the victims and fled the scene.

Police have not yet established a motive, according to Garcia.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call Detective Sgt. Paul Kelly or Detective Jon Boren at (408) 277-5283.
