Fairfield Teen Mom Accused Of Endangering Daughter

 CBS 5 CrimeWatch

FAIRFIELD (BCN) ― Fairfield police said a 17-year-old girl has been arrested for child endangerment of her daughter.

Officer Cleo Mayoral said the Fairfield girl took her 8-month-old daughter to the NorthBay Medical Center around 2 p.m. Tuesday. Hospital officials called police because the child had severe injuries, Mayoral said.

The baby was airlifted to a Bay Area trauma center with injuries that are life-threatening and was listed in serious but stable condition in the intensive care unit of the hospital by 1 p.m. Wednesday, Mayoral said. Police are not disclosing specific details about the injuries.

The girl was booked into Solano County Juvenile Hall for felony abusing or endangering the health of a child, Mayoral said.
