East Bay Residents Awakened By Small Quake
DANVILLE (CBS 5) ―
The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.3 struck Friday morning in Danville.
According to the USGS, the earthquake struck shortly after 6 a.m. and had a depth of 4.4 miles.
The quake was centered one mile north-northeast of central Danville and 10 miles south-southeast of Concord, according to the USGS.
