3.0 Earthquake Hits Big Bear Lake
BIG BEAR LAKE (AP) ―
An 3.0 earthquake has hit southwestern California, near the town of Big Bear Lake. No damage was reported.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported the quake early Monday afternoon in the mountains five miles northwest of Mount San Gorgonio.
Geophysicist Susan Potter says the quake hit at 12:21 p.m. and was relatively shallow at four miles deep.
