Police ID Source Of Dead Animals At Dublin School
DUBLIN (AP) ―
Dead animals found stuffed inside Dublin High School lockers were taken from the morgue of a local veterinary hospital, police say.
However, authorities say they still don't know who was responsible.
The bodies of two cats and a 25-pound dog have been found in unassigned lockers since the school year began.
Police say the bodies were taken from an unlocked storage freezer in the back of a Dublin veterinary hospital.
The owners of the animals are being notified. Meanwhile, the hospital plans to lock its freezers.
The school district has offered a reward of $250 for information on the incident.
