100 Davis Families Going On Carbon Diet
DAVIS (CBS 5) ―
Over the next month, 100 families in Davis are going on a group diet. They are not cutting calories, but are looking to reduce their carbon footprint.
Their goal is for each family to adjust their lives enough to conserve the equivalent of 5,000 pounds of carbon emissions. The families are replacing lightbulbs, insulating homes and biking to work to produce less greenhouse gases.
