Teen Shot Dead After Concord Dispute
CONCORD (CBS 5 / BCN) ―
An 18-year-old man was shot and killed in Concord Monday evening, police Capt. Jim Lardieri said.
The victim was with a group of friends when a car approached them in the 1800 block of Mayette Avenue at about 5:20 p.m. Preliminary reports indicate words were exchanged between a group of males inside the car and the victim's group, Lardieri said.
Shots were then fired from the vehicle and the victim was struck at least once, Lardieri said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect vehicle, which was occupied by four males, is described as an older model, four-door sedan that is light in color.
