Coloverdale Wildfire In Sonoma Grows To 120 Acres

Winds spread a wildfire east of Cloverdale to 120 acres and smoke from the blaze was visible from Lake County and areas of southern Sonoma
County, Cal Fire said Tuesday afternoon.

Cal Fire spokeswoman Kaaren Stasko said the fire at 9100 Geysers Road at Pine Road was reported at 10 a.m.

Geysers Road at Hill Road was also closed, she said.

No structures were threatened and there had been no evacuations in the area Stasko said.

Stasko said 10 engines, six air tankers, five hand crews, four dozers, five helicopters and three water tenders from local fire departments were fighting the fire.

There was no control or containment time estimate, she said.
