NASA Ames Engineer Gets 5 Years For Child Porn

MOUNTAIN VIEW (BCN) ― Federal prosecutors announced Wednesday that an engineer who downloaded child pornography onto his government computer while working at NASA's Ames Research Center was sentenced to five years in prison by a federal judge Wednesday morning.

Morgan Hill resident Christopher Burt Wiltsee, 57, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Jeremy Fogel. He pleaded guilty to child pornography charges in March and has been in custody since then.

Wiltsee admitted to downloading more than 600 images of child pornography involving prepubescent minors and sadomasochism, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
